Project Engineer – Houston, Texas:

(iGET Services LLC has opening in Houston, TX) Project Engineer: Perform Engineering Design, Computer Aided Design and Drafting for Civil Infrastructure, Drainage, Roadway Design, Intersection Improvements, Traffic Studies, and Signalization projects using Autodesk, and Bentley Platforms. Analyze survey reports, soil reports, maps and architectural and construction plans and consult with the principal engineer to take further actions necessary for the projects. Perform Traffic Impact Analyses using ITS, MUTCD criteria, performing Synchro analysis, and recommend Mitigation Plans. Perform Hydraulics and Hydrological analysis for drainage and flood control projects for Local, State and Federal water bodies, channels, bayous etc. using Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling software and ArcGIS/ArcView GIS. Design and analyze reinforced concrete structures, steel and wood structures, pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete structures using design software. Verify the latest engineering codes of ASCE, AISC, ACI, AASHTO, OSHA, USACE, FEMA, EPA etc. to ensure the projects should comply with Federal, State and Local requirements. Coordinate with private and government clients and stakeholders for collecting project information and assist to prepare permit documents for work on projects related to federal, state and local entities. Provide support to the business development and proposal activities of the firm by creating quotation and contractual documents and statements of qualifications, as necessary. Utilize AutoCAD and REVIT.  Requires Masters in Civil Engineering, or related and 2 years experience in the job offered, or Junior Engineer, Engineering Technologist/CAD Engineer, or related. Requires E.I.T. Certification, any state. 2 years must include experience with general structural engineering coordination with architects, developers, and clients. 1 year must include experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.
