Master Drainage Plan for 400 Acre Community Development

Client: Inspire Communities, LLC

iGET is the Engineer of Record for the Master Drainage Plan for 400 Acres of Land in Waller, TX.  The Land is developed by Inspire Communities for 1,400 Single Family Residences, with all support systems.

The two Subject tracts are in the Spring Creek Watershed of the Harris County Flood Control District.   Kickapoo Creek passes through the SouthEast of the Tract.  The project area is partially in the FEMA delineated and regulated Floodplain, and has USACE regulated Wetlands.

iGET team has achieved Optimal Land Area for development with floodplain mitigation, and verification of no-impact. A detailed H&H model-based watershed and routing analysis were performed using 1-D and 2-D HEC models and SWMM models.

iGET’s Overall Engineering Scope involved Developing the Master Drainage Plan, and coordinating the Civil design, with the following activities:
